Criteria

Three filters. No exceptions.

Revenue, not a prototype

We don't fund ideas. Every company we back is already charging someone money. The number can be small — it has to be real, and you need three months of it.

UK, US, Canada or Australia

A Delaware C-corp, a UK limited company, a Canadian corporation, or an Australian Pty Ltd. Anywhere else and we'll pass on the first email rather than waste your quarter.

A small position

We take a modest stake on the terms of your round, in US dollars or the local-currency equivalent, and leave the cap table clean for whoever leads it.

How we work

Four things you can hold us to.

Silence is a no: If you don't hear from us, it's a no. We'll always reach out if we're interested, so don't wait on us and don't chase — carry on with your round.
We don't lead: We're not pricing your round or setting terms. Send us the terms you've agreed and we'll sign the same documents as everyone else.
No board seats: A board seat at this cheque size would be absurd, and we won't hold you to formal reporting. A few lines each quarter keep us close enough to be useful — and if a quarter goes wrong, tell us early. A month you can't make payroll or a round that's slipping is exactly when an introduction, a reference, or a bridge is worth having us on the cap table.
Once you're in, we pick up: Before we invest, we're hard to reach on purpose. After we invest, you have our mobile numbers. Introductions, hiring, a second read on a term sheet — ask.
